Steve Houghton
Internationally renowned jazz drummer, percussionist, clinician, author, and educator, Steve Houghton initially received acclaim at age twenty as the drummer with Woody Herman’s Young Thundering Herd. Since then he has shared stage and studio with luminaries Freddie Hubbard, Rufus Reid, Gary Burton, Dave Stryker, Clay Jenkins, Shelly Berg, Jared Gold, Lyle Mays, Bob Sheppard, Billy Childs, Bobby Hutcherson, Pat LaBarbara, Bobby Shew, Geoff Keezer, Bob Bowman, Walter Smith III , Wayne Bergeron, Bill Cunliffe, Arturo Sandoval, Steve Allee, Joe Henderson, Ray Brown, Eddie Henderson, among others.

As a bandleader Houghton’s discography includes: AHA Trio – Brother to Brother, Steve Houghton Trio – Beautiful Friendship, Driftin’- AHA Trio plus one, The AHA! Quintet – Freespace, The Manne We Love: Gershwin Revisited, a recent release of John Williams’ charts for big band and quintet, Live @ The Senator – Steve Houghton Quintet, Windsong, Remembrances, and Steve Houghton Signature Series. In total Houghton attributes more than one hundred recordings to his credit as a participating artist. As a classical percussionist, Houghton has performed with the Boston, and Philadelphia Pops orchestras, the U.S. Army Band, as well as the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. He frequently appears as a soloist with numerous orchestras and wind ensembles throughout the world.

Clay Jenkins
Clay Jenkins' career as a jazz artist has covered a wide range of musical experiences and responsibilities. His career as a performer began when he joined The Stan Kenton Orchestra in 1977. He moved to Los Angeles in 1978 and soon joined the The Buddy Rich Big Band and then The Count Basie Orchestra. In 1984 Clay became a charter member of The Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra (CHJO) along with the great Snooky Young. In 2000 Clay moved To Rochester, New York to serve as The Professor of Jazz Trumpet at The Eastman School of Music. In 2017 Clay initiated the Eastman School of Music “Snooky Young Endowed Scholarship.”
Clay continues a very busy schedule as a jazz artist. He has performed on many recordings including 8 solo recordings as well as recordings with The CHJO, Joe La Barbera, Milt Jackson, Steve Houghton, Diana Krall, Kim Richmond, Billy Harper, “Trio East,” Lyle Mays, Peter Erskine, Don Aliquo, Harold Danko, John Beasley, Gene Bertoncini, Rufus Reid, Ray Brown, Kurt Elling, Bob Sheppard, Jim Widner, John La Barbera, Pat La Barbera, Larry Koonse, Alan Pasqua, Gary Hobbs, Rich Perry, Bill Perkins, Reggie Thomas, Karrin Allyson, and Miki Coltrane. He has played on 3 Grammy Nominated Albums including “The Alan Ferber Big Band”, “The Dave Slonaker Jazz Orchestra”, and “Chuck Owens’ Surge Big Band.”

Steve Allee
Pianist, composer and arranger Steve Allee is a veteran on the music scene, working principally in jazz, writing and performing for syndicated radio programs, network television and motion pictures, and as a music educator.
Steve is a Yamaha Performing Artist and College-Conservatory of Music Jazz Studies faculty member at the University of Cincinnati. He has performed with Buddy Rich, Slide Hampton, James Moody, Benny Golson, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman, Gary Bartz, Louis Hayes, Randy Brecker and is a member of the Rufus Reid ‘Out Front Trio’. Their trio recording was on the Jazz Week radio charts for 20 weeks including the #1 spot. He also performed on Rufus Reid’s Grammy Nominated ‘Quiet Pride’ Big Band Project on the Motema label.
He has opened for Bill Evans and Tony Bennett. Steve recently performed at the Chicago, Rochester, Skidmore, Montreal, Mid-Atlantic, Indy and Miami Jazz Festivals.

Bob Bowman
Bob Bowman has performed with numbers of artists including Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Frank Mantooth, Carmen McRae, Pat Coil, Freddie Hubbard, Bud Shank, Ed Soph, Karrin Allyson, Dan Haerle, Steve Houghton, Steve Allee, Bill Mays, Clay Jenkins, Danny Embrey, Todd Strait, Loren Stillman, Bob Sheppard, Matt Otto, Rod Fleeman, John Stowell, Jerry Hahn, Bobby Watson and others. Bob has toured around the world and been on many recordings that have won or been nominated for GRAMMY awards. While performing with these artists, he works with his own bands including the legendary Kansas City group, INTERSTRING and BOWDOG. Also he has dedicated himself to jazz education. Bob now resides in Montana continuing to play and influence the music scene.
